The Testimony of Earthquakes

In just the last three weeks here in Central Pennsylvania, we've experienced an earthquake, hurricane rain, extended lightening and T-storms, and now, massive flooding.
Now, I'm not saying they told us so...
But...yeah, they told us so.
Remember this talk given by Elder Holland in the last General Conference?
He said:
"Brothers and sisters, in general conference we offer our testimonies in conjunction with other testimonies that will come, because one way or another God will have His voice heard. “I sent you out to testify and warn the people,” the Lord has said to His prophets.15
“[And] after your testimony cometh the testimony of earthquakes, … of thunderings, … lightnings, and … tempests, and the voice of the waves of the sea heaving themselves beyond their bounds. …"

Want to listen to what prophets of God are saying in our day?
Just tune in right here to read, listen to, or watch the latest General Conference.

And to my friends in PA:  My house is not underwater.  (Thank goodness!)
So, if you need help, please let me know!

  2. Elder Holland has such a kind voice. I like how he says there are no assigned topics. The topics are given from Heaven. Also that maybe not all the topics are for you. Listen to the ones that are and check off that you are trying to hold FHE with Bedlamites.

  3. I was overcome with fear this morning before 6a.m. and tried hard to contain my tears once the girls woke up but I failed. I told them I was scared and we needed to say a family prayer immediately. We came to our knees and prayed for safety, for compassion, for love and have the spirit guide us throught the day. I was immediately overcome with calm and light. I know these tradgedies have been prophecied but it's always surreal when it's so close to home. I am just thankful for the knowledge we have and the spirit that guides and directs us. Thanks JC

  4. This was one of my favorite talks of conference. It was so simple he was just testifying of the apostles and that what they spoke of this conference was of the Lord. I know the apostles are servants of the Lord. His testimony validated mine and the Spirit warmed my heart. So nothing new, not a lesson or call to repentance (maybe it was but I didn't see it that way), just a confirmation of something I already knew but for some reason it touched me more than anything this April conference. I do love the General Authorities.
