My Three Musketeers

When Autumn was born, in the fall of 2008, I became the Mother of THREE children UNDER THREE.  I had definitely bitten off more than I could chew, but the Lord took me by the hand and lead me lovingly down the road that I had chosen.  And the blessings and happiness that my children have brought to me as a result of that choice have made that decision absolutely worth it.

I got a new phone today...and it took me all day to get it set up, because I refused to lose the wonderful, random pictures that I have taken of our daily activities over the last three years.

Many of these snapshots were taken on our frequent trips to the grocery store, but there was also the treasured video of Autumn learning to walk with Guy and Scarlett cheering her on.  I had that saved as my phone's screen-saver, because it was such a happy time for all of us, and my kids love to watch it over and over again.

My three musketeers.

My three greatest blessings.

What will we do eight days from now...when one little duckling isn't around to play all day?

  1. You'll have more time to focus on the two growing little ducklings while your oldest tries his wings...lol!

  2. the Papa Duck will say QUACK!!! QUACK!!! QUACK!!! and the 3 little ducks will come running back. He's only down a few streets....not gone and grown and leaving you forever, never calling, never coming to visit, never sending you love cards, never giving you stolen flowers. Just down a few streets.

  3. This was one of the hardest things I ever did with my littles. Good luck. He will have so much fun and you will welcome him home with joy each day.

Your photos really are a treasure. Good thing you saved them!

  4. I had three under three two. Whew it was crazy! But now I'm so used to it and I hardly know what to do when I have just one or two of them with me. Doesn't happen very often, but when it does I'm always shocked to realize what just one of my sons adds to the mix. I love mommy-ing. By the looks of those pictures you sure do too!

  7. It really is such a fun thing to have kids that are close in age -- I was so terrified when I found out my girls would be so close, but I wouldn't have it *any* other way!
