I suppose what you are currently looking at is a MIRACLE.
Because it is a miracle that whoever made these tire tracks in my front yard did it last night while we were all safe asleep in our beds...and not, say, on Friday when my babies were out frolicking in the snow. (Do you see how their footprints cross paths with the tire tracks? Kinda gives me chills, ya know?)
So, I guess, instead of cursing, I'll just say, THANK YOU, Lord.
And thank you, Steve for building that fence.
And say, dear readers, if someone is leaving your house under the influence...take their keys, please.
Someone's life (or landscaping) just might depend on it.
Someone's life (or landscaping) just might depend on it.
Thank you.
what in the world!!!??? Are you kidding?
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that you were a NASCAR fan. It is GREAT blessing nothing was truly damaged or hurt especially the most precious little ones or their parents. Glad all is safe!
ReplyDeleteit looks to me like they came from the driveway and then straightened up as they left. this is awful. can you see, either direction, where the tire tracks lead? and was the ground frozen enough that the turf didn't get turfed. did you call the cops to report it. You should. How frightening.
ReplyDeleteHow scary! I'm glad that you are all ok. Thank goodness it happened at night and the driver had enough sense to not do any more damage than he/she did.
ReplyDeletewow! that's scary!!!!! people are so ummm well "people" sometimes. good thing nothing major happened!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my GOODNESS!!
ReplyDeletebet it was a teenager out for thrills late at night...
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't even know what to think about it...my neighbors are pretty alarmed as well...
ReplyDeleteYea, I really hate it when people decide to drink and drive. It just makes it so bad for the rest of us. So glad you are all safe!
ReplyDeleteNOT cool. I'm so glad they didn't run into the house either. So happy you are all well.
ReplyDeletethank God the babies are safe.
ReplyDeleteso glad you and yours were safely watched over. Yes, it is scary and we used to live next door to an alcoholic, he did one day die. But I did not leave my kids out front alone because of this. Phew.
ReplyDeletewow! That is so scary.
ReplyDeleteWow. Just wow.
ReplyDeleteWe live on a corner lot and during the winter, it happens a lot that some crazy driver was driving too fast in the neighborhood and goes across our lawn. I will NOT allow my kids to play in the front yard, especially without me. Pretty sad.
ReplyDeleteThat picture is worth a thousand words truly! I'm so glad that you were safe and that no lasting damage was done to you, your home, or the driver. I do kind of wish I could have seen the look on his (or her I guess) face when the fence loomed ahead and he realized he'd been cruising on your turf.
ReplyDeleteYikes. That's pretty unsettling.

Holy cow. How scary. I'm glad all you can see are the tracks and no other damage (or injuries).
ReplyDeleteWow, I am so glad you are SAFE!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone!
