It's the Creep-Creepiest Season of All...

Yay!  It's October...my favorite month of the year!

Can you guess why?

Lots of reasons...lots of birthdays, lots of parties, lots of beauty, and new tastes and smells, lots of reasons to snuggle up with my family and make memories together!

We've just finished two weeks of celebrating family (online and off!), and hasn't it been amazing?  A perfect lead-in to the spiritual feast of General Conference coming up this weekend.

Since I gave the voice of my blog over to my wonderful guest bloggers these last two weeks, I've got so much to tell you...but I won't bog you down with everything at once.

I'll just tell you one little story before we announce the Family Proclamation Celebration PRIZE winners.

So you know I've been "nesting" for like six months now.  That "to do" list just never ends.  We put the crib together on Saturday, and started washing baby clothes...fun, fun.

I've also been working hard to make our front porch look all festive and welcoming.  I finally did a few decor ideas that I had pinned on Pinterest last Halloween...

...including these pillows...

...and these bats.

On Saturday, I opened my front door to find an Obama political canvasser who was nearly in tears, she was getting such a kick out of our decorations.

I realized that Guy had added his own special flare to our front porch decor...behold:

"No! Trespassing or die.  The curse of the elf."

And then...

"If you trespass the curse will go on you!!  And the elf will chase you, so don't come!"

"The zombies are coming!!!  You'll be sorry!"

"Oh, you will!"

So much for my "welcoming" front porch!

I love my kids!

I love family.

There is so much joy in family time, and thanks to all of the contributors to my blog over the last two weeks, I've been able to spend a lot of wonderful, carefree time with my family...so THANKS AGAIN!

I love that you guys keep coming back here day after day sharing your love of family and your testimonies as well!  Thanks for the support...and have a great week preparing yourself and your family to listen to the prophets!

You can see some things that we like to do around Conference time by clicking here or check out my sidebar.  (Stephanie is also doing a series of posts about the 14 fundamentals of following the prophet this week!)

Now to announce all of the *patient* winners!  Congratulations!
