The Friend is such a great resource. We are having a family preparedness FHE tonight with some activities to help us get ready for emergencies. I think I'll start out with this article and talk about how Heavenly Father, through the prophet, has told us to be prepared. If we do our part, we know we can rely on Heavenly Father to help us.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this! It's a simple way to start discussion!
You always come up with some great ideas and links. I read this one an I think the words are not just for children. We live in a fear filled world. Without my faith in my Heavenly Father; I don't know how I would handle today's struggles.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Excellent tip! And a great lesson for all of us no matter our age. While we may outgrow some of our early childhood fears like Guy's, we still have fears as preteens, teens and adults. No matter how big or small the fear, like you said; prayer and the Lord are always sure fire ways to conquer them.
