Wooden Egg Easter Countdown

This post constitutes a love note to That Girl.

You see, she has created an Easter Countdown for her boys using wooden eggs, instead of the cheapo plastic ones that I used!  Hers are so special--hand-painted by Becky and her mother.

Becky bought the hollow wooden eggs here, in case you'd like to make some for yourself!

Also, looky here, Becky!:  Your eggs reminded me of the egg that I cross-stitched this season (shown below).  It is a tribute to my Mother who always had Lily of the Valley growing on the side of our home growing up!

See, great minds...

  4. thanx...you need some lilies of the valley by your house's side. next time you come, we'll transplant you some, despite the season. They are very hearty and we have a ton! And oh the fragrance! Incredible
