Paying It Forward: Thank goodness.

I have always appreciated organized efforts to spread goodness and cheer.
Perhaps that is why I am particularly drawn to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  In every way, the church is organized to bring to pass the Lord's great plan of happiness for all of his children.  And the gospel of Jesus Christ is truly for ALL of his children.

One of the great truths demonstrated by the very existence of the Book of Mormon is that the Lord seeks to reveal his gospel to all of his children.  "Know ye not that there are more anations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the bisles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the cearth beneath; and I bring forth my dword unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth?"

I had the gospel laid out clearly before me starting at a young age.  Because of this, it was relatively easy to discern truth and to gain a testimony of Jesus Christ.  Because of this I feel the need to pay forward the goodness that has blessed my life, by sharing it with others.

One of my blog friends posted a "Pay It Forward" challenge on her site.  In the spirit of paying forward the happiness and goodness that I enjoy because of Jesus Christ, I have decided to participate!

Here is how my Pay-it-Forward works:  The first three people to leave a comment on this post will receive, at some point during the year, a handmade gift from me. What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise!

Before you leave your comment for me, decide how you will choose to 'Pay It Forward'.  You might write up a pay it forward post on your blog, do a service Pay-it-forward activity for a neighbor, or put your own twist on the idea. (Decide quickly, because only the first three comments will receive a surprise from me...)  Then let me know you're going to play, and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift!
