I had a fun surprise today, when a friend of mine pointed out that my "Clean Talk" points appear in this month's Friend. Yay! What a fun, unexpected treat! (Happiness! We love the Friend.)
To be clear most of the C.L.E.A.N. guidelines for using good language came directly from advice given by an apostle of the Lord (Elder L. Tom Perry -- find his comments here). I just used the C.L.E.A.N. acronym so that hopefully children (and parents) will be able to remember his advice.
So go check out your Friend! The "clean talk" guide appears as part of a two-page spread with loads of tools to help your children go back to school ready to stand firm and true!
congrats you are impacting the world...

ReplyDeleteWahoo...you are even more famous than your previous famous;) This is awesome and they did a great spread, didn't they. I just think you are awesome.
ReplyDeleteHaha, thanks! They did do a great job. Although the only part I wrote was the "clean talk" stuff...the recipe and everything else was written by someone else...a staff writer I guess!
DeleteHow very fun to have a your idea published. I loved the points you shared. In the world of today parents need to teach their children clean talk.
