Is there anything more simple or special than reading a book with a child?
Here are the books that we read together during the month of November.
These books focus on gratitude for blessings, the history of Thanksgiving, and serving others.

Oh Jocelyn, Now I'm going to be grounded from spending, because I've never met a book list I didn't love and want!! Luckily I already have a few of these. My favorite part of being a mommy is snuggling on the couch and reading a book.
ReplyDeleteI'm almost curious enough to go buy some books. I usually buy one to take to the grandkids...
ReplyDeleteThat is a great list! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteCranberry Thanksgiving is a favorite around here!
ReplyDeleteGood Heavens that is a lot of books. I want them all.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the list.
And a special thanks for encouraging me to focus on the Book Of Mormon. I know I didn't participate as much as I would have liked to, but I can't believe how much closer I feel to my Heavenly Father and the depth of spirituality I've gained the past month.
I love you.
One of our Thanksgiving favorites is "The Amazing Turkey Race". Just a silly book, but we like it!
ReplyDeleteI've added a bunch of these to my Amazon list. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWe checked out a bunch of Thanksgiving books from the Library yesterday, but only one from this list. Next time we go, I need to take this list! I had no idea, before yesterday, that there were SO many to choose from. Have you ever read "Thanksgiving at the Tappletons" by Eileen Spinelli? That is my mom's absolute favorite (we love it, too).
ReplyDeleteOh, Jocelyn.
ReplyDeleteYou are soooo bad for my book-buying problem.

What a list! Hoping our NEW library has them so that we can enjoy them without emptying our pocketbook more than we have already :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the awesome list! I've got my list ready for the library now! :-)
