We've got news about the baby!
(And we're spreading it far and wide during FHE tonight!)
As I mentioned previously, we don't normally "find out." We love a good surprise, but lately I've been feeling like, for the kids' sake, we might want to go ahead and find out the gender of our baby. And at the ultrasound today, that's just what we did!
Although Guy in particular was really hoping for a baby brother, he displayed the sweetest, most tender reaction to the news that we are expecting a BABY GIRL!
That is one special kid. I'll just say that.
It was wonderful to look over at my beautiful brood sitting in the ultrasound room with their feet dangling from the adult-sized chairs, as their little legs still couldn't quite touch the floor!
We all watched with wonder as the technician measured the baby who we are sure--thanks to 4D technology--is going to look just like her big sister Autumn!
I love this great news. Either way everyone would of been thrilled. Tell Guy he is one special young man because he will carry the tourch in the family when he goes preaching the gospel as a missionary someday. He is a very special kid with much responsibility on his shoulders as he protects and guides his sisters through life.
ReplyDeleteJocelyn-
ReplyDeleteI just (happily) stumbled across your blog today and first I have to say, Congratulations on the baby girl. You will have exactly what I have- 1 boy and 3 girls. We also did not find out what any of our kids were until #4 and I am glad we did because big brother needed to get used to the idea of having another girl around. :)
Anyway, just wanted to also say what a great job you have done with this blog. Outstanding ideas. I have loved looking through them today. Keep up the good work!
Your fellow mother who knows-
Desirae :)

How sweet. The kids look so pleased and excited. There is such an excitement and joy that comes with having a little one join the family. Guy is a special young man to be the caretaker of of his little sisters...I have no doubt he will continue to be a wonderful big brother...especially with the great parents he has.
ReplyDeletePS. I love the shoes!
Congratulations on getting to add a new addition to your already fabulous fam! Not knowing the sex can be fun, but we're sure the kids are so excited to know that they have a little sister on the way. It probably makes it even more real for them.
ReplyDeleteYour little munchkins are sooo cute! I'm excited for you. Congrats!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet picture. My Maddie felt the same way, wanted a baby sister so bad, but baby brother number 3 came and she loves him so so much!!
