Names of Christ Christmas Countdown

We are using a few different countdowns this Christmas.

Here is the one we are using during our morning scriptures study.

We are using Chocolate on my Cranium's Names of Christ study, but I added coloring pages for the kids to work on while we read the scriptures listed.  We made them into journals for each member of the family, with places to color and pages to write.  So far, it's a hit!  Just follow the link above to access the original study guide.  It would be a great personal study as is too!

Now for today's giveaway:

Primitive Nativity Scene

One reader will win this Primitive Nativity Scene from Kennkee on Etsy.  Kennekee has some neat Christmas items, like a tree to hang Christmas cards on! Cool! Check them out!

To be Entered:

1.  Be a follower of my blog on Google Friend Connect

2.  Do something to bring the spirit of Christmas into the life of someone else today!

Here's a thought--You could print out the Names of Christ study guide and leave it secretly on someone's doorstep!

Please leave a comment for each entry that you do.

I've decided that I'll leave the giveaways open until Friday...so each day you have an opportunity to win.  Click here to enter yesterday's giveaway!

  15. Does this count for bringing the Spirit of Christmas into someone else's life, if I share what I did for FHE on Monday?

We babysit my niece and nephew when my sister-in-law works as a nightshift nurse. She has struggled with going to church consistently, and though she has a strong testimony, her young children are growing up missing out. She is a single mom, she has a lot of health issues, and so it must be very hard for her at times. When her kids are with us, we just try to help out by including gospel teaching in some way.

I did out FHE on what gift we can give Christ this year...inspired by your post on the same thing. I made felt presents, and we shared a story, and then wrote on paper hearts what our gift would be. My 4 yr. old wanted to give Christ a spider man web shooter, lol, so we had to really discuss what gifts are best! My niece said hers was to go to church more often and read her scriptures every night.

I hope that I helped my children and my niece and nephew grasp the meaning and spirit of Christmas.

I just LOVE so much your ideas and to read what you are doing with your family!!! I know I have said it before, but thank you for everything you are doing with your blog!
