Seeing Double

This is what I just saw in my back yard...the birds are returning! (Can you see the one in flight on the right with wings extended?)  Spring is returning too, and no one can tell me otherwise.

With Spring comes the best thing of all...Easter!  I am putting together an Easter Blog Party that you won't want to miss, so stay tuned.

Have an Easter idea that you would like to share???   Please let me know!

In other news, my new buddy Sharline wrote a few weeks ago to tell me that my wiser and blonder twin is serving as a senior missionary in her ward.  Today she sent me this picture as proof that we do indeed bear an uncanny resemblance to each other.  When I opened this photo on my laptop, my 2-year-old pointed right at Sister Kellett and said, "Mommy!!"

So what do you guys think?

(Sharline told me to add a side-by-side comparison...so here it is!)

  1. I'm extremely jealous of the bird sightings in the backyard as we are being pummeled with a tremendous blizzard today. Here's hoping that March will go OUT like a lamb since it will mostly likely be roaring IN like a lion tomorrow! I'm excited for your Easter blog party. I get so many good ideas from those sorts of things! (And yes, there is definitely a resemblance.)

  5. I seriously laughed out loud when I read the what your son said. I totally think she looks like you... :-)
We are enjoying beautiful bird sounds and even feeding ducks and turtles nearby. Trees are in full bloom and things are getting prettier and prettier. This is my first February in Florida, and I'm loving it! It was about 80 degrees yesterday! :-D

  17. WOW! she does look like you!!How cool is that!

I love the birdhouses, i have at least 8 of them in different shapes and size...there use to be a big tree in front of our house but they cut it down because it died..i felt really very sad because during Spring and summer a lot of birds are nesting on the tree and i could hear them singing loud in the morning[even at 3am!!] and it makes me really feel happy to hear that!
